Focus on visually and/or hearing impaired in March

Our focus for March is those who are visually and/or hearing impaired. We will always work with a group's particular needs to make sure our voyages work for you. That can include bringing a support worker on-board who can sign British Sign Language.

Last year we took a special needs group sailing on-board Faramir for a week. One of the leaders and one of the young people were both hearing impaired.

"Thank you for helping us to go on this adventure to do something that we never thought we would be allowed to do. Also thank you for making our parents realise that we can do more than they think," said the young person after their voyage.

A donation to our www.justgiving.com/campaign/cirdan40thanniversary fund will enable us to help fund young people with visual and hearing impairment to enable them to join one of our voyages.
