An opportunity to participate in the prestigious Tall Ships’ Race Event

Joining Leg: Ipswich to Den Helder, Monday 26th June - Sunday 2nd July

Sailing from Ipswich to Den Helder in the Netherlands, this is the joining leg for the start of the whole event. This is the ideal introduction for those wanting a taste of the Tall Ships’ event without having to race. After arriving in Den Helder amongst Tall Ships from around the world, there will be an opportunity to join in with the fun and festivities laid on for all participants.

Race Leg: Den Helder to Hartlepool, Monday 3rd July - Sunday 9th July

Arriving in Den Helder participants join in the on-going festivities before setting sail with the spectacular Tall Ships' fleet. The race across the North Sea ends with the fleet arriving in Hartlepool, where everyone will be welcomed to the shores of the UK before taking part in the fun festivities and prize giving.

£995 per person (£700 with an optional bursary from The Cirdan Sailing Trust). Individuals can also apply to the Oman Bursary Scheme for financial assistance: https://sailtraininginternational.org/.../support/bursaries/

For the Race leg - at least 50% of those on board must be aged between 15 and 25 years and no more than 50% of the total complement may be under 16 years of age.
