Whilst Nick Back, Cirdan’s Chief Executive of 20 years retired in 2011 his dedication to sail training for young people remains not only through offering his services to the Trust on a regular basis but also as a Trustee for ASTO, UK sail training’s umbrella body. In recognition of his services to young people through the industry, Nick was presented with an MBE by HRH Prince William in March.
