Cirdan trustee completes the London Marathon

Cirdan’s trustee, Charles Anderson ran the London Marathon’s gruelling 26 miles, 385 yards from Blackheath to The Mall in 5 hours 32 minutes to raise money for The Cirdan Sailing Trust.

Deputy Chairman Charles has been involved with the Trust for over 25 years during which time he has organised and participated in a number of fund raising events for the Trust including a previous London Marathon and a parachute jump.

On this occasion, Charles set a target to raise £10,000 towards the cost of replacing the Trust’s van/people carrier which is 15 years old and definitely showing signs of age. Although a magnificent £7,000 + has been raised so far, Charles still needs a bit of help to reach his goal so why not add your support at:
