Youth Development Sailing Residentials in 2020

We have now opened the booking process for youth development sailing residential weeks with us for the 2020 season and we want leaders to benefit from the longer lead time to plan your experience and get the funding together.

The Cirdan Trust’s 35 years of established charity work has developed our youth work program to provide a range of skill building and personal development challenges, which can be tailored to meet the needs of your specific group of young people aged 12 to 25. The group will become the trainee crew while onboard, working on developing life skills, focusing on teamwork, confidence building, communication and life skills such as cooking & healthy eating.

Our season will start on 30th March 2020 with all three vessels, Queen Galadriel, Faramir and Duet, operating out of Ipswich and sailing on the East Coast of England.

Once they have spent some weeks in this area, Queen Galadriel will head down to the South Coast and operate out of Poole Harbor for the summer and Faramir will head up to Hartlepool, leaving Duet to continue working around East Anglia. Nearer the end of the season, around September, they will all come back to Ipswich for the last few weeks until the season comes to an end around the 2nd November.

Our popular sailing dates do book up quickly, so avoid disappointment but snapping up the ideal voyage for your group of young people by calling us today on 01621 776684 or by emailing info@cirdantrust.org

We look forward to hearing from you soon.
