Last minute opportunity for Queen Galadriel in May 2016

Additional fupic for webnding is available for any youth group that is able to sail from Cardiff to Dartmouth aboard Queen Galadriel during the following dates;

Either Sat 14th – Fri 20th May or Sat 21st – Fri 27th May 2016

The voyage would include all elements of sailing from making her way down the Bristol Channel, along the North Devon/Cornwall Coast to the excitement of sailing around the iconic Land’s End and along the beautiful South Devon/Cornwall Coast to Dartmouth. Queen Galadriel can take a group of up to 16 people (including leaders) plus her 3 professional crew.

Help your young people develop character traits, attributes and behaviours that the Government recognise are needed to underpin success in education and work so they can thrive in today’s society such as;

Resilience            Motivation            Community Spirit           Confidence           Focus           Tolerance

Robust evaluation of the outcomes of our voyages shows that this can easily be achieved through the challenge of life at sea aboard one of our vessels. Youth leaders tell us they can achieve more during a week at sea than in months on dry land. Our Voyage of Discovery Fund provides grants to youth groups to help cover the cost of a voyage with Cirdan aboard one of our vessels. The level of support will depend on the group and their access to funds from elsewhere.

We are able to offer this voyage to any youth group for a contribution. If you are interested, please contact us now – 01621 776684 or michelle@cirdantrust.org
