Farewell For Now

The 2015 sailing season has now finished for the winter and the boats have been put to bed ready for their routine refit work. Faramir and Duet are back at Bradwell Marina and Queen Galadriel is at Gloucester Docks ready to have her deck replaced. It is the first week without the crew around and although it is quiet, we are missing them!

Alex (Mate on Duet) is currently studying for her Yachtmaster certificate, Charlie (Bosun on Queen Galadriel) is getting some small boat experience, which will be easy to handle compared to Queen Galadriel. Gerrith (Skipper on Queen Galadriel) and Huw (Mate on Queen Galadriel) stayed on for a few days to settle QG into her winter home and they are now off to sail in blue waters and sunshine. Giles (Mate on Faramir) is getting to know his new boat and Sam (Bosun on Faramir) is giving him a hand to take her to her new home. Ed (Skipper on Faramir) will be staying on through the winter to co-ordinate the refit work and help us update our office systems. We would like to thank them for all their hard work this season and we hope to see them soon.
