Cirdan Summer Breeze Sportive & Charity Bike Ride

This year’s Cirdan Summer Breeze Sportive and Charity Bike Ride is on Sunday 19th July and thanks to our supporters Athlon Sports, paralympic cyclist Colin Lynch  and inspirational cancer survivor James Golding  have both confirmed they will be riding in the event.  Alex Dowsett who rode with us at the last Cirdan Breeze Sportive is unlikely to join us this year as he is hoping to be riding the Tour De France.

With two well-marked routes (80 miles and 25 miles) through some stunning Essex countryside,  the cycle ride is open to club and casual riders.  There is an entry fee of £20 for the 80 mile sportive and £15 for the 25 mile ride with all proceeds being used to further Cirdan’s work with disadvantaged young people; there is a reduced fee for anyone collecting sponsorship.

Registration will be via British Cycling and further details will be available very soon.  In the meantime please put the date in your diary.
